We No Longer Provide Saturday or Sunday Turnover Service
Great Northern Cleaning provides maid services to rental properties. These services can be weekly, monthly or on-call as needed. On most rental property cleanings, we follow are our “Rentals Cleaning Checklist” found below. We can also custom tailor our rentals cleanings to your specific needs.
Great Northern Cleaning provides trained, uniformed, fully insured personnel. All necessary cleaning equipment and supplies.
The property owner at choice supplies paper products, liquid hand, dish, & laundry soaps, trash liners etc. which we can disperse from a designated area.
If the property owner provides linens as part of the rental, we can wash them on premise if time allows. We also offer off-site laundering for an additional fee. There should be 2 complete sets available for all bedding and towels.
Rental Cleaning Services List
Great Northern Cleaning has a thorough checklist we complete on each visit to your home. If you are in need of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or occasional cleaning, we are here to serve you. Kitchen
- Clean appliances, counters, cabinets, table and chairs.
- Clean, scrub, and sanitize sinks, counter tops, and backsplashes.
- Clean range top, and wipe out inside of oven.
- Clean appliance exteriors, including inside of toaster and coffee maker.
- Clean inside and outside of refrigerator and microwave. Discard any food items.
- Wash floors.
- Empty dishwasher and quickly organize cupboards.
- Restock auto dish detergent, dish soap, coffee filters, trash liners, and 1 roll paper towels. (optional)
- Put out 2 clean dish towels and a clean dish rag/sponge. (optional)
- Empty and clean waste baskets.
Living Room (Areas)
- Furniture dusted and polished
- TVs and electronic equipment dusted
- Lampshades/bulbs dusted
- Ceiling fans dusted
- Mirrors cleaned
- Knick-knacks and picture frames dusted and straightened
- Blinds and sills dusted
- Woodwork dusted and polished
- Internal doors and frames wiped
- Upholstered furniture vacuumed
- Cushions straightened and fluffed
- Wood floors vacuumed and mopped
- Carpets vacuumed
- Stairs vacuumed
- Banisters dusted and polished
Bedrooms
- Change sheets and pillow cases. Put on bedspread. (optional)
- Vacuum floor area and under beds. Mop floors.
- Check for personal belongings left in drawers and closets.
- Dust furniture and clean mirrors.
- Check windows for finger prints.
- Make sure light bulbs are not burned out.
- Check for wear and tear or stains on sheets.
Bathrooms
- Clean, scrub, and sanitize showers, bathtubs, vanity, sinks, and backsplashes.
- Clean mirrors. Check for fingerprints on windows.
- Clean and sanitize toilets.
- Polish chrome.
- Wash floors and tile walls.
- Empty waste basket
- Replenish liquid hand soap, roll toilet paper, and towels and linens. (optional)
Other Areas
- Use Webster to knock down cobwebs inside the house.
- Use Webster to knock down cobwebs around entry and decks.
- Check light bulbs and change if necessary.
- Wipe off patio set & barbeque grill. (optional)
- Notify owner immediately if we notice any damages, missing items, or if the home was left in disarray.
